Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using CrewSwipe.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using CrewSwipe, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use CrewSwipe. By using the app, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
3. Your Account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information
- You are responsible for all activity under your account
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity
- Post false, misleading, or deceptive content
- Harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other users
- Use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use automated means to access or interact with the app
- Solicit money or commercial services from other users
- Share explicit, violent, or otherwise objectionable content
5. User Content
- You retain ownership of content you post
- You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the app
- You are solely responsible for content you post
- We may remove content that violates these Terms
6. Matching and Interactions
- CrewSwipe facilitates connections but does not guarantee compatibility or safety
- You are responsible for your interactions with other users
- We recommend meeting in public places and informing someone of your plans
- We are not responsible for the conduct of any user
7. Privacy
Your use of CrewSwipe is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
CrewSwipe offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions ("Subscriptions") that unlock additional features. The following terms apply to all Subscriptions purchased through the iOS App Store.
Subscription tiers and billing periods. We currently offer the following Subscriptions:
- CrewSwipe Plus — available as a weekly, monthly, or yearly auto-renewing subscription.
- CrewSwipe Premium — available as a weekly, monthly, or yearly auto-renewing subscription.
The exact title, length, and current price of each Subscription (including any introductory offer or free trial, if available) are displayed inside the app on the subscription purchase screen at the time of purchase, and confirmed before you complete the transaction.
Payment and auto-renewal. Payment will be charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Your Subscription automatically renews at the same price for the same billing period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price disclosed at sign-up unless we provide notice of a price change in advance.
Managing or canceling your Subscription. You can view, manage, or cancel your Subscription at any time from your iOS device by going to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or in the App Store under your account. Canceling stops future renewals; you keep access to paid features until the end of the current billing period. Deleting the app does not cancel your Subscription.
Free trials and introductory offers. If a free trial or introductory offer is available, any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a Subscription, where applicable.
Refunds. Subscriptions are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store policies. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
Changes to Subscriptions. We may add, remove, or modify Subscription features and pricing from time to time. Material changes that affect your existing Subscription will be communicated to you with reasonable notice, and any new price will only take effect on the next renewal after you have been notified.
The standard Apple End User License Agreement also applies to your use of CrewSwipe and is available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. To the extent of any conflict between that EULA and these Terms regarding Subscriptions, these Terms govern as between you and CrewSwipe.
9. Intellectual Property
The CrewSwipe app, including its design, features, and content (excluding user content), is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without our written consent.
10. Disclaimers
CrewSwipe is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CrewSwipe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.
12. Termination
- You may delete your account at any time through the app settings
- We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms
- Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately
- Termination of your account does not automatically cancel an active App Store Subscription; cancel it via Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iOS device
13. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
